How does a business get all the addresses for a particular zip code to mail coupons to?

Is there an inexpensive way of getting all addresses in one zip code and doing ht emailings yourself? Or is there any companies that you know of that do this for you?

If you really want to do this, a good relatively inexpensive choice for purchasing mailing lists is InfoUSA ( http://www.infousa.com/ ).

For consumers, search the consumer database, then do a select by zip code. You can get all addresses in the zip code, or do further demographic selects such as household income, home ownership status and home value, and many others. (The more selects you use, the more expensive the list.) You can also say whether you want only one lead per valid address.

Then it will run a search for you and let you know how many records it can retrieve and how much they will cost you. It’s typically a sliding scale based on volume.

The search and the quote is free. You can purchase leads with a credit card or if you're a large enough business, set up an account.

For example, my zip code has 2,943 addresses in it, and you can buy a list of those addresses, with a contact name, for about $325.

If you want to do a postcard mailing, and have a service handle the entire thing for you, there are several services available--though they are not exactly inexpensive.

One that partners with infoUSA is AmazingMail (http://www.amazingmail.com/). You can design your postcard online, buy your mailing list, and they will print and mail your cards.

Another option is through the US Postal Service's NetPost program (http://www.usps.com/netpost/) --you need to buy your own list and upload it, but you can use the service to print and mail a wide variety of media (post cards, flyers, newsletters, etc.) at very reasonable prices.
Reply:i believe the privacy act made that illegal....thank god
