How do I reset a lockout code?

I own a 2001 Mitsubishi Spyder that has an Infinity Stereo system. I just picked it up from the shop after getting some maintenance done and now the stereo seems to require some code to work. I am not the original owner of the vehicle and have no Owner's Manual so I have no idea what this code might be. How can I reset it or enter a new code that I will know?

best bet would be to pull out the stereo yourself, and get the serial number off of it. When you call Mitsu, have that serial number and your VIN. Most dealerships will tell you to come in, so they can check, all they are going to do is charge you $70 to pull the stereo...so if you already have the work done, sometimes they will give it to you for free. If they refuse to give it to you for free, try another Mitsu dealership...eventually you'll find one that should do it.
Reply:Why would you call an infinity dealer when you drive Mitsubishi?
Reply:Go up to the mitsubishi dealership and they'll fix it for around $40.. thats what my dad had to do.
Reply:call the infinity dealer.
Reply:That happen to me too what i did was to take out the stereo and took it apart and rebuild it that worked

or

you can just call the Mitsubishi manufacturer or Infinity manufacturer and tell them your situation see if they might help.
