How can I program my cell phone voicemail code to be as simple as hitting ok?

When accessing voicemail, I would like to program my phone to, instead of typing in # then my code, just hit ok and the code would be programmed already to that. I had it done on my old phone, but would like to do it on my new one. Thanks

How can I program my cell phone voicemail code to be as simple as hitting ok?
I'm not sure if this works on all carriers but what you can do is:

Go to your voicemail speed dial.

Edit the number to display *86 (that's for verizon, but put whatever number is used to directly access your voicemail)

After placing *86 or whatever your vm number is, add the letter p (it stands for pause to let the phone connect first) and then #XXXX %26lt;-- your password.

It should look something like this when you are done:

*86p#1234#

Got it?
