What is the name of the code when you want to transfer your mobile tel no over?

I thinnk its called a pac or puc code - something like that - does anyone know for sure?





I have a contract with O2 which i am cancelling and want to keep the same no when i move to orange - also does anyone know if you can do this when you go from a contract to a pay as you go phone?

If you want to keep your number, it doesn't have anything to do with your phone. You have to call the company your moving to (Orange) and advise them you want to port a number over. Then, O2 gives up ownership of your number. At that point, you are no longer O2's customer so you can ask Orange for the PUK code if u want to use the O2 sim card in it. They will contact O2 for that information.
