How do you get a friend code in animal crossing?

I can not figure it out its probably easy but I just can't figure it out please help!





Ps. I also would love for someone to visit my town once I get a friend code.

How do you get a friend code in animal crossing?
You have to go to the gate and talk to the guy on the right and ask him for your friend code. He'll give it to you. I can't seem to remember his name.
Reply:go to the main gate and talk to the skinnier dog and ask him 4 a friend code and he will give it 2 u
